kompaqt.core is wolfgang sobtzick, from köln/germany. influenced by sharp end labels like warp, he switched from acoustic guitar to digital production tools in order to create some of the most interesting sounds, we`ve had the pleasure to release on laridae yet. analysing and messing around with clicky audio snippets, droning distortions and subtle melodies, he represents the abstract and cold, but nonetheless ensnaring field of experimental sound design.
